| story | Ross Karedada is a senior member of the Karedada family. The Karedadas are the main custodians of "Wandjina Dreaming" from around the Kalumburu area in the far north of the Kimberley region of W.A. As such, Ross is one of the few people allowed to paint and depict the Wandjina Spirit. Wandjina Spirits are mainly rain or cloud spirits and are related to the owl. They are friendly and helpful spirits. |
